Changing lives with A Random Act of Kindness
“I learned to GIVE not BEcause I have much but BEcause i know exactly how it feels to have nothing.” A quote to live by and is exactly what occurred on On Monday May 12,2014 when International recording artist 400 teamed up with Quente’Sential Branding and BE Magazine to take over the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. This amazing day of giveback was nothing shy of memorable for the many women whose lives were influenced and changed this day. Over the course of the day, selected women had the opportunity to partake in complimentary Hair and Nail services courtesy of B Xquisit Hair Studio and BEauty From Ashes Esthetics. The BEauty services along with the empowerment seminar were tools that helped the ladies regain confidence in themselves that many had lost during their struggles. The day ended with a fully prepared lunch music, more networking and conversation. Speakers shared their stories of trials, tribulations and how they turned it into success. They opened up about how they refused to let their bad situation defeat the gifts they were blessed with. Speakers included Fly Musiq (Atlanta native that specializes in music artistry and motivational speaking.) , Donna Wade i(licensed professional counselor) ,Ja’el The Great Roberson ( life coach, actress, entrepreneur, philanthropist) ,Time2Achieve Tutoring Services, Cookie Jackson ( ItsCookiesWorld/Pink Prestige Productions, LLC),Jacquesa “JQ” Smith ( Life Coach /Founder of TAG Apparel Brand), Markesia Satchell ( Mother /Recent Atlanta Resident )and Victoria Colzie(BEauty From Ashes Esthetics) You never know when a Random act of kindness will occur.
